I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education at Trent University to fulfill my dream of being a primary teacher. I have a passion for teaching children how to read and I do this by combining evidence-based programs with a responsive, relational approach. I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds, including those with learning exceptionalities and those who have experienced trauma. She holds a certification in the Primary/Junior Divisions and has completed Special Education Part 1, equipping her with the tools and strategies to support diverse learners. Throughout her career, Julie has developed a deep love for working with primary-grade students, where the foundation for lifelong learning is built. Jessica is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist with special interest in literacy, autism, and language development. Jessica is a warm and positive clinician who values caregiver involvement and functional intervention goals. Jessica has worked with preschool & school-aged children and is an advocate for early intervention, interest-based therapy, and neurodiversity affirming care.
